Carla Liversedge - Third Grade (Green Room)
Building relationships with my students is an important first step to teaching them. Students and teachers should feel safe and comfortable in the learning environment and feel a part of the community.
It is important to find out what excites the students as well as what their needs and strengths are. BNS offers teachers the chance to create curriculum with all of those things in mind. The small class size at BNS allows for individualization of the curriculum so all students are learning, working, and achieving.
Learning is experienced through cooperative activities, problem solving, discovering, reading, writing, listening to others, respecting one another, and working together as a community.
